Asbestos lung cancer is a dreaded disease. Much like lung cancer  or virtually any other cancers the process of treatment will depend on a number of factors including your preferences. Whether you catch this disease sooner or not is hard to tell. What are some treatments for asbestos cancers?
First - The surgeons may want to operate and remove the entire tumor.
Second - chemotherapy which used an anticancer medication to try and kill off those cells. Cytotoxi is one such treatment.
Thirdly - radiation treatments still prove successful in some cases. Since people die from cancer everyday it is important to use whatever means are necessary to stave off this dreaded disease.
Fourth -  photo dynamic therapy PDT for short. This is novel experimental treatment that shoots light into the cancerous cells after a special substance has been thrust into the bloodstream. The dye is absorbed into the cells and the light recognizes and kills them off.

As you can see there are a few options for treating asbestos cancer today that might have been overlooked in your research. Just remember that the overall prognosis is really dependent upon your overall health at the time of diagnosis. So, keeping fit and healthy is essential to your long term well being. Having a huge dose of a never ending positive mental attitude will help you in advancing successfully with your asbestos cancer lung treatment to.
